About Hill View Cottage

The Cottage is fully furnished with a luxury Kingsize bed in the front bedroom & quality fixtures & fittings throughout. There is a log effect fire nestled in a stone inglenook fireplace and dining for up to six people around a table made from the door of an old French farmhouse. In the kitchenette, there is an oven, hob, kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave, washing machine and coffee machine and a breakfast area with views of the castle & access to the patio & garden. A small storage lobby separates the Kitchen area from the downstairs shower room and provides the ideal space for coats, boots, laundry and even wine & beer!

The shower room contains a loo, washbasin and enclosed glass shower cubicle.

Upstairs there is a toilet with wash basin and mirror and two bedrooms – the beautiful master bedroom with views to the front and a small room with two single beds and a chest of drawers. Please note the small room is suitable for children and adults but space is quite tight! There is a travel cot for little ‘uns.

To the rear of the property the cottage garden features a seating area with views of the Castle complete with patio furniture,colourful planters, a small lawned area and an ancient Wisteria. During the Summer months seasonal vegetables and fruit are often available from the owners’ garden.

The front of the Cottage opens on to the old country street. We provide a reserved private parking spot in the public car park just across the road.
